2025 Luminaria Sale

LUMINARIA SALES BEGIN NOVEMBER 1ST!

For 56 years, our local chapter of the Infant Welfare Society Auxiliary has sponsored this beautiful Christmas Eve event which has evolved into a breathtaking expression of community pride, unity, and caring.

Luminaria are spaced 5’ to 10’ apart along streets or sidewalks and driveways. The candles are anchored in bags using sand, birdseed, potting soil or lumabases, which can be purchased through our sale.

Proceeds from our sale benefit the Infant Welfare Society, bringing the gift of good health to disadvantaged children. You can support this mission by joining your neighbors in lighting luminaria or by making a financial donation.

HOW TO PURCHASE LUMINARIA:

--Through neighborhood sales 

Wheaton-Naperville Infant Welfare members, in coordination with neighborhood volunteers, will collect orders for luminaria from their neighbors. If you would like to organize sales in your neighborhood, please contact us at secretary@wheatoninfantwelfare.org.

--Through our local ACE Hardware sales partners (between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve)

Basic Sets – Sets of 5 candles and 5 bags @ $6.00 each set*

Gift Sets – Sets of 5 candles and 5 bags, uniquely wrapped for giving as gifts, @$12 each set.* (Only available at Wheaton ACE Hardware store locations.)

Lumabase Sets – Sets of 5 plastic bases to hold candles upright and weigh down the bags @ $15.00 each set* These can be used from year to year. (Only available on-line or through neighborhood sales. Not available in hardware stores.)

*For online orders – Processing fees will apply, as will shipping charges for orders that cannot be delivered or picked up due to distance from Wheaton.
