Organizing & Collecting

Our Chapter sent 26 Holiday Food Boxes and 4 extra boxes down to the Clinic on March 31st. Thirty members participated and donated all of the holiday food items contained in the boxes.

Thank you to Bill Blumthal and Kevin Connell for delivering all of the heavy boxes to the Clinic for us.

And Thank you to members Lynn Moore and Jocelyne Raahauge for their time and effort in chairing this effort and to all our members who donated food items, made monetary donations, and devoted their time to this effort.

We are so proud of our Wheaton-Naperville Chapter, and we hope that these Holiday Food Boxes provided a Happy Easter to these families!

Adopt-A-Family

HELPING FAMILIES IN NEED...

In response to a request from the Infant Welfare's Angel Harvey Family Health Center, our chapter jumped at the chance to "adopt-a-family" in need. Within five hours individual members had committed to purchasing new bedsheets and covers, towels, mugs, plates, flatware, and blender for a family of five. What an extremely generous group of ladies! And thank you to our member Rose Maczek for coordinating the collection and delivery of these items to the clinic in Chicago.

Canned Food/Lysol Wipes Drive

A LITTLE HELP DURING THE PANDEMIC...

Thanks to all of our members that contributed food and supplies to the families of the Angel Harvey Family Health Center of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago. These much needed donations will benefit many families who are suffering from layoffs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

And a huge amount of gratitude goes to our member, Pat Danly, for collecting and organizing this whole event! Your efforts are so greatly appreciated!
